Meet Your Dentist

Dr. Britton graduated from Ohio State University with his DDS in 1976, then he served two years with the US Navy in a dental practice residency. He opened his private practice in Chillicothe 25 years ago and has since enjoyed developing relationships with Chillicothe and Jackson-area families as he cares for their dental needs.

Dr. Britton recently attended the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, where he completed a fellowship and his mastership in the Comprehensive Dentistry Masters Program. Additionally, he invests many hours each year attending courses in cosmetic dentistry, dental sleep medicine, and ontogenesis to stay abreast of constantly evolving dental techniques and technology.

In July of 2008, Dr. Britton earned the prestigious title of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). The MAGD distinction is the highest honor available from the AGD and reflects Dr. Britton's commitment to dental excellence through his continued education.

Meet Our Team

Vicki Britton

Vicki, Dr. Britton's wife, joined our team in 1999 after retiring from her Chillicothe veterinary practice. With over 20 years of business experience and a thorough understanding of medical practice management, she supports the Britton family commitment to offering professional dental services in a courteous and helpful environment. As office administrator, Vicki helps patients with all their insurance and financial questions. She can assist in arranging third party financing, for instance. Vicki enjoys the focus we have on family, working with Dr. Britton and her daughter, Elizabeth Fosson. Vicki has four other children who are currently in college.

Heidi Adams

After graduating from Unioto High School in 1997, Heidi attended Ohio University, Chillicothe, for two years. She is married and has one daughter. Heidi has been with Dr. Britton for over seven years. Says Heidi, "My experience working for Dr. Britton has been both enjoyable and interesting. I have learned a lot over the years."

Beverly Britton

Beverly joined our practice in 1994 while completing her bachelor's degree in business administration at Ohio State University where she graduated cum laude in business management. Prior to 1994, Beverly traveled throughout the world as a performer, director, and choreographer in the entertainment industry. She has performed on Broadway, TV, cruise ships, in films, and has toured with the USO. One could say that with all this celebrity experience, Beverly truly understands the importance of a great smile!

Here at our office, Beverly assists the office manager with such duties as payroll management, Internet-insurance reporting, office/dental supply ordering, and general management of office finances. In 2000, she was honored with the title of "Office Artist" responsible for many of the paintings in the Chillicothe office and looks forward to doing the same in Jackson. Beverly comes from a large family and enjoys spending her free time with her 16 nieces and nephews, as well as caring for her tropical birds and gardening.

Sandy Jones, R.D.H.

Sandy has been a dental assistant since 1996 when she graduated from Shawnee State University. Her favorite pastimes are being with her daughter and playing cards. "Over the past eight years I've spent with Dr. Britton, my greatest achievements are those accomplished with my patients," says Sandy.

Cynthia Oldacre, R.D.H.

A practicing dental hygienist since 1994, Cindy attended Marshall University, Shawnee State University, and most recently, Ohio State University. The first 10 years of her career, she focused on the field of periodontics. She enjoys sports, traveling, and time with friends and family. Cindy says, "Working with Dr. Britton is constantly challenging, which in return, holds us to a higher standard personally and professionally."
